Do you ever wonder what the point of it all is? Why we are on this earth? You get up, have your coffee, go to school/work, go home, have dinner, watch a dumb movie or show, go to bed, to start over again.

You do this for a potential of 120 years, 43,800 days and then its over with, your time on earth is done. What was the point? What did you do and how did you do it?

Psalm 144:4 says, “Man is like a breath; his days are like a passing shadow.”

1 Chronicles 29:15 says, “We are here for only a moment, visitors and strangers in the land as our ancestors were before us. Our days on earth are like a passing shadow, gone so soon without a trace.”

James 4:14-15 says, “How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone. What you ought to say is, “If the Lord wants us to, we will live and do this or that.”

The devil has made most people unaware of distraction, so much so, that their whole life is a distraction. A majority of us can easily get a job, education and pursue happiness. You have access, to mainstream media, the hottest trends and the latest news all with the click of a finger. We have the ability to block God out of our everyday life, and pursue a satisfaction the world gives.

There are a lot of people distracted with changing the world in their own abilities, with humanitarianism. They see a hurting world, a distracted current generation and a future generation without a chance for hope. Jesus is the ultimate Hope, and without Him, the effort of changing the world is pointless and without a future. You can feed thousands, give homes to millions, and offer hope to zero.

The word of God makes it clear that our lifetime is a millisecond, a blink of an eye, and without Jesus, it’s worthless and vein. So what should you do?

Romans 12:2 tells us, “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”

Through constantly replacing your thoughts with His, reading the Bible and listening to quality leadership, you have the ability to transform your mind and to become a new creation in Him. We can gain confidence and freedom in our lives by simply reading, embracing, and applying the principles of the Word of God.

The thing about God is, He gives everyone a purpose. He has called us for moments we are suppose to impact. He gave us dreams that are beyond our imagination, plus, He gives us the gifts and grace to do it all. He didn’t create us, or this world so we could be unhappy and live a mundane purposeless life. We were put on this earth to have a relationship with Him and to love the people in our lives.

Jesus died on the cross to make the entire world righteous. That is a message of Hope worth spreading through every outlet you have access to. God is constantly speaking to you, and guiding you. All you have to do is listen and most importantly, see yourself as He does. You were created for a specific time and purpose and that time is now.
