Easy Clothes Pin Magnets

Get ready to make what will probably be the easiest DIY project you’ve done for a a while: Easy Clothes Pin Magnets. Follow the simple directions below with your friends & family and have fun with this KICKS Craft!

What you’ll need:

wooden clothes pins

acrylic craft paint + brush

magnet tape or magnets & glue

What you do:

Prepare a paint surface. Paint all of one half of the clothes pin and allow to dry for about 10 mins then turn over and do the opposite side. You can apply a second coat if you need, allowing appropriate dry time in-between front and back, just like the first coat.
Once your clothespins are completely dry, cut your magnetic tape and adhere it to one side of the clothes pin.
Use your new magnets to hold your photos, to do lists, journal pages, ideas, appointment reminders, etc., on any magnetic surface!

Fun Fact: You can find these magnets in our KICKS Flicks film, Camp New: Humble Pie, in the girls cabin! We wanna’ see your clothes pins! Share on social media and tag your social media posts #kickscraft!
