Christmas Tree Peanut Butter & Chocolate Bites
What you’ll need:
(makes about 15 cups)
1 c old fashioned oatmeal
1/3 c honey
1/3 c peanut butter (or nut butter of choice)
peanut butter & chocolate candies (we used OCHO Peanut Butter Trees (https://www.ochocandy.com/product/christmas/) but any will do or you could just use a chocolate bar or chocolate chips!)
What you’ll do:
Pre-heat oven to 300.
Melt honey and peanut butter together on low heat on stovetop. Make sure you don’t boil the mixture due to the honey’s nutrients. Once combined, turn heat off and mix in oatmeal.
Spoon mix into mini cups & top with peanut butter cup or chocolate and slide into the oven for about 30 seconds. Chill overnight to allow chocolate to set, or serve immediately for a gooey treat!
