Toasted Oats Trail Mix
This autumn, take your hike to the next level with this simple toasted oats trail mix! Using the skillet makes it quick and easy!
What You Need:
1 c. old fashioned oats
2 tsp honey
1/2 c banana chips
1/4 c chocolate chips
1/4 c coconut chips
Step 1:
Heat dry skillet on medium heat for about a minute, then add oats. Stir consistently to assure they don’t burn, and once they are the color you like turn off the heat. Continue to stir for about a minute, then add the honey, continuing to stir, until it is incorporated evenly. Set aside to cool for about 10 mins while you measure the rest of your ingredients.
Step 2:
Mix cooled oats and remaining ingredients together either in a bowl, or in the container you plan to store the trail mix.
