Easy Fancy Chocolates

Everyone loves chocolate, right? Okay, maybe not.. but for those of you who do, try this simple recipe to add a little extra pizzaz to your chocolate! Super customizable, pretty, and fun to make it exactly how you like!

What You Need:

1 chocolate bar OR 1 cup chocolate chips (any variety is fine, super dark all the way to white)

freeze-dried strawberries (you can use any freeze-dried fruit, dried fruit, nuts, coconut, seeds, or even flaky salt – get creative and customize your chocolates with your favorites!)

parchment paper

What You’ll D0:
Use parchment paper to cover a cookie sheet.

If you’re using a candy bar, break the bar into pieces to speed up the melting process.

Melt the chocolate with whatever method you feel comfortable with. If you have a double broiler, that will work, or you can use a glass measuring cup in the microwave, or a pot on low heat on the stove. If using a pot on the stove, turn heat off as soon as all your chocolate has melted, to keep it from burning.

Once all the chocolate is melted, spoon it onto the parchment paper, and gently create a circle. Place a freeze-dried strawberry on top, or crunch it up and sprinkle it on top.

Once your cookie sheet is full and your chocolate is gone, place it in the freezer for up to 24 hours, or until chocolate is hardened. Remove from freezer and store in a air tight container in the fridge.

Enjoy!
