“Then those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, ‘Truly You are the Son of God.'” Matt 14:33
Did you know when you step out in faith somebody is watching you? Because of what you do, others will be able to see Jesus Christ. Especially your children.
Your life will affect someone else, somehow, somewhere. As Peter stepped out of the boat and walked on water, he did it by the word of the Lord. Jesus said, “Come…” Through Peter’s obedience, others were watching and others had a revelation of who Jesus was.
By one simple act of obedience, on the spoken word of God, Jesus was revealed as the Son of God. As the Lord bids us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel, a simple factor in this is to just step out in faith right where you are and do what He’s asked you to do. There is somebody watching you. He will back you up with His signs and wonders as He bids you to “Come”!
Through your act of faith, just as Peter’s, you will reveal Jesus to the world. Through this you find that your witness comes through your relationship with the Son of God and the testimony He has given you! So step out in faith and obedience and you will be preaching the Gospel in the world. You are a living epistle to those who are watching. It’s that simple…
